The Art of Self-Healing
Our health and harmony depends upon the free and even distribution of life energy throughout the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-philosophy is the art of harmonizing life energy. As an introduction to Jin Shin Jyutsu in this hands-on talk, you will utilize the tools for managing your attitudes ultimately resulting in balance, of health and happiness.
Kathleen Dunderdale BA Edu (Kentucky), MA (Michigan State) is a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and self- help teacher. She began her expat life student teaching in Colombia, SA then on to Egypt in 1982. After 20 years of primary school educating in the United Arab Emirates, Scotland, England and briefly in the USA, Kathleen switched careers.
In 2000 she began her studies in Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese form of light touch acupressure in London. As a dedicated therapist, she continued her acupressure studies in Singapore, Japan, Europe, USA and Ireland. She has studied with the late master teachers; founder of JSJ in the States, Mary Burmeister, co- founder, Haruki Kato Sensei, his son Doctor Sadaki Kato and mentored with Lynne Pflueger and Carlos Gutterres. Kathleen has over 1,500 classroom hours and ongoing study in this life long Art.
After moving back to the States after 32 years abroad, Kathleen graduated from Morristown, NJ Hospital’s JSJPPC certification course which is co- sponsored by the Mary Burmeister, JSJ Institute and Atlantic Health system. She is a principal practitioner of the Jin Shin Institute Murai Method, NYC. Kathleen has practiced the Art of Jin Shin on 3 continents and has been in practice for 23yrs.
