Shelly was appointed President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Texas
Gulf Coast and Louisiana in August 2023.
Working closely with
the Board of Directors, she leads every aspect of the day-to-day
operations of the chapter with a mission-driven focus to create
life-changing wishes for children battling critical illnesses while
emphasizing strategic partnerships and fundraising to elevate
the brand of Make-A-Wish across its territory and nationally.
Shelly joined Make-A-Wish in December 2020 as the Chief
Mission and Strategy Officer.
Since then, she has led the

Communications and Community Engagement divisions and supporting the Mission

pandemic.
In Fiscal Year 2024, Make-A-Wish granted 601 wishes, a new record for
the organization, and
quadrupled
its number of corporate partners.
